Excellence in Academic Performance
Learning Grounded in
the Deep Riches of the Christian Faith
Our students’ learning—both in and out of the classroom—directs them toward a deeper knowledge of God as they grow to better understand the world God has made.
Education in English and Spanish Immersion
Our Spanish Immersion Program is a unique educational option that teaches native English-speaking children all their academic subjects in Spanish, starting in preschool.
High Academic
Standards
Our students consistently produce results at or above their grade level. We meet or exceed the standards set by the Indiana Department of Education.
Our History
Covenant Christian School was established in 1993 by a group of independent, multi-denominational parents looking for a comprehensive academic program.
Jesus—Our One Foundation
Raising a child to love God and his world takes wisdom, courage, and grace. The right school can support the family and church’s work by providing a learning environment grounded in the deep riches of Christian faith. At Covenant, Christian teachers model God’s love to our students by challenging their minds, nurturing
their spirits, and encouraging them in lives of obedient discipleship to Jesus. By bringing a worldview grounded in God’s self-sacrificing love together with rigorous academics, we create an environment that fosters successful and confident students who are grounded in knowledge and faith.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
At Covenant Christian School, we believe in the importance of both strong family connections and ongoing professional growth for our staff. Our scheduled half days serve a dual purpose: they provide families with additional time together and give our teachers dedicated time for collaboration and professional development.
By offering these opportunities during the school day, we aim to support our educators’ continued growth without infringing on their personal and family time—ensuring a healthy balance for all members of our school community.
-
As a private Christian school, we are able to support students with 504 Plans and Individualized Service Plans (ISPs, the private school equivalent of an IEP), based on the severity of a student’s diagnosis and the level of support required. Each student's needs are considered on an individual basis to ensure that we are equipped to serve them well— academically, spiritually, and emotionally.
-
At Covenant Christian School, students are expected to bring a packed lunch from home each day. Due to time constraints and limited access to microwaves, we are unable to accommodate food that requires heating.
As a special option, we offer "Tasty Thursday”, a weekly opportunity for families to purchase a pre-ordered lunch for their child. Details about Tasty Thursday offerings and ordering procedures are communicated regularly throughout the school year.
-
At Covenant Christian School, we deeply value parent involvement and recognize it as a vital part of our school community. Parents are encouraged to participate in one or more of our many committees, which offer meaningful opportunities to connect, serve, and support the mission of our school.
Some of the committees available include:
• Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO)
• Fun & Fellowship
• Praying Parents
• Campus Beautification
...and more!
To foster a strong partnership between home and school, we highly recommend that each family volunteer at least 10 hours per school year. There are a variety of ways to get involved, and we welcome your time, gifts, and talents as we work together to make Covenant a thriving community for all.

We do! Before and After School Care is available from 7:30–8:25am and from 3:30–6:00pm.
Students participating in WrapAround Care are given homework/study time, and participate in group activities such as outside or inside play. Students should bring their own healthy snack.
To help facilitate child care for families who have varying schedules, the Wrap-Around service is provided as-needed without a set commitment. Wrap-Around rates are $10/hour and $5/half hour.
