LOWER SCHOOL
Learning grounded in the deep riches of the Christian faith.
Covenant Lower School students receive a strong biblical foundation through a wide range of classic literature, life sciences, heritage studies, and the visual arts. Inquiry-based learning transcends subject areas and is used to explore and discover God in His world.
Covenant’s lower school average teacher-to-student ratio is 1 to 20.
Education in English and Spanish Immersion
Through our program, students understand that immersion is more than a language; it encompasses a culture, too. Our Lower School students understand that their biliteracy supports and advances overall academic achievement across the disciplines. Our immersion teachers, all of whom are native speakers of the target language and English proficient, aim to build on the cultural empathy and skills that students began developing in primary school.
“I have three children in the Spanish Immersion program, and I can’t believe how much they have grown! This place feels like a home away from home. My kids can’t wait to go to school in the morning.”
